Hellwig Swaybar

Just ordered a hellwig front sway bar for my 65 satillite. Does anyone know if the kit comes with the tab connectors for the lower control arms or does anyone make weld on tabs? I would think someone could stamp them out don't want to change out control arms just for tabs.

It comes with those. They are heavy 90 degree brackets that bolt on using the lower shock bolts. Make sure they clear the upper rubber suspension snubber mount on full travel or you’ll hear a bang. Also likely to interfere with front discs if they have forward mounted calipers. Nice bar.

Thanks I'll have to check my disc brakes not sure if they are fron mounting or not.

I have a rear Hellwig bar kit, new in box. I don't know how old it is, but all the red link bushings (polly) in the box are broken and in pieces. Bar looks nice bushings are junk. If they offer rubber bushings they may last longer.

They also make one that bolts to the bottom of the shock mount.

Pretty clever.

Still waiting for swaybar for my 65 satillite I'm on my seventh week of a 5 to 7 week waiting period. I ordered from Suspension connection. Has anyone bought from them before?
Didn't see the fine print until I actually ordered the swaybar. Hoping it's actually 7 weeks and not 7 mo.

I think it's Hellwig that's the problem. Likely being drop shipped. I ordered front and rear bars from SD truck springs and they said they were on national back order.
