so I have been stumped on getting the wires through the steering column. I already yanked the old ones now I need to get the newbies though. All together they just don't fit with my fish tape...

You might have to carefully remove all the cables from the plug housing, then tape together and pull with your fish tape (or wire coat-hanger - obviously unfolded)
Make sure you take pics of the wire configuration on the plug housing first.

Use a small solid tube to carefully push the individual wires out of the housing.

They are all out kiwi, I just can't seem to get them taped up small enough to pull though!

I replaced the indicator loom a few years ago, and it worked for me. Feed from the top down, and if you can get the the coat-hanger - or similar fish tape up the column, you can ease it down with a little pull.
Got any pics of where you're at?

The steering column and wiring, not the horse paddock

Well kiwi we are in the clear! I guess I just had to slow down and do it the smarter way..haha. I separated out all the wires and sent down just two at a time. It look a lot longer but they were real easy that way, duh. The best part is that...it works:thumbsup:. Lights are a lot brighter and if you know anyone on the forum looking for a quality oe part the one I got was perfect and not a cheapo but only 95 bucks! I can pass on the info. Thanks for the ideas bud. Cheers:D

A little late to the party but; I used to install high speed Internet and one of the tricks I learned as far as taping wire for pulling, leave an inch or so between wire ends and tape it the same as you would a hockey stick.
