Help!! - I need help with mounting battery in trunk.

Save yourself some money and head aches put the battery back in the engine compartment. It is not worth the cable head aches. But if you must install a heavy duty electric supply house bayonet disconnect. they can handle over 1000 cranking amps easily. Also double insulate the cables.

You know, I just might do that. Originally I was trying to take some weight off of the front end for weight transfer (if I can ever make it to the track) but with aluminum heads and close to 400 hp on the motor and a 125 shot of nitrous I don't think that a 25 lb battery will make that much of a difference.

The car isn't even a race car, it's a hot street car. You know, I'm going to put the battery back under the hood tomoorow.

Thanks, I needed that.
