Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone has a Mopar book that would have the schematic for a 1979 Chrysler Cordoba for the brackets that go on the front of the motor for the power steering, alternator, and AC pump. Putting them back how I took them off the old motor but CRS must be catching up with me and I'm not 100% certain I have it correct!

Thanks in advance!
JP

A thought you may have already tried but, google 1979 Córdoba engine bay and click images at the top after the results come back and search though them. Maybe you'll see the brackets you have and be able to go from there..

I looked at several but not knowing what you have exactly, I didn't post any.. Good luck

Couple of photos, hope they help you.

Yep you're right, that's funny stuff right there!

That's what happens when you're in a hurry! You don't read what you need to! Lol

Well.....

Solved one problem just to discover another!

Figured out the bracket problem... AC unit with bracket goes BEHIND the alternator bracket....

Now discovering that the mount for the thermostat is in a different location on the new intake.... mounting bolt for AC is now in the way....

With the A/C compressor mounted as shown did you verify pulley alignment with the crank pulley. Seems that the A/C bracket needs to be spaced out to clear the thermostat housing. You will know by the crankshaft pulley alignment. I would bet that your location of your thermostat on your new manifold is cast in the stock location

I played this game before when I mounted A/C on my 426 hemi. Similar issues but I got P/S,A/C and Alternator to work.
