Just cruising through craigs and found my old plymouth I sold about 11 years ago..... sadly this car has been beat up pretty bad since I had it... and wow... i think his price is crazy for around these parts... but still kinda fun to see it. I put those Black mod wheels and spinners on it in 1995 ... amazed they arnt rusted.... maybe they are.... I probably shiould have kept that car and stuffed the 440 in it.. Oh well..

If the car is as discribed he should have no trouble getting that for it. Have you tried to find sheet meatal for a pre 68 lately?

I am sure that for those back east this is a good price for this car. Around here though.... its too much. there was a '67 Belvy on Craigs not to long ago with a decent resto and a 440 in it that sold for $7k. I paid 1200 bucks for that car 11 years ago or so from the old lady that was the original owner. The car ran excellent, had all its pieces, I had to take the bias ply tires off of it and put my other wheels and tires on it for safety. Its paint was fair, but starting to fade enough that couldnt be buffed out. Some small dings and dents but nothing I considerd out of the ordinary. Some rust was bubbling through the rear quarter but just starting. I was a moron and got rid of the car. It has had two owners since me. The first guy didnt have it long and it went to this guy who now has it and ran the crap out of it. It would be a easy resto though.

The car actually sits about 4 miles from my house. With a drive by look at it I can say.... wow.... its really trashed looking... more so than the pics show. The rust is now pretty good in the rear quarters, the right side front fender trim is missing (says he has it in the ad) the drivers side door had been hit or something since I owned it - missing trim. The outside mirror is missing and the hood emblem looks like it was torn off (ad states he has it... but what shape ?) Wonder what happened to the headliner ? I know it was in perfect shape 11 years ago.
