I'll say right off I don't have a B body, but I have been a Mopar guy all my life. The ones that came and went are a '61 300-G with cross-ram 413, '65 Barracuda 273/235 4-spd and a '70 383 Road Runner, but they were all back in the 70s and 80s.

I recently acquired a pretty much stock '66 Sport Fury 383-4bbl 4-spd. Naturally I had to join the A- B- and C-body forums to get back in the swing of things. The new ride is a blast to tool around in.

The car needed new brakes and tires all around when I got it, but now what a great feeling to be tooling around in a 48 year old car. I'm enjoying reading about all your cars on this great site. Thanks.

Is there a B-Body in the future for you?

I'll never say never, but at this point in my life there are no plans. I'd love to have a '70 GTX. The '70 Plymouth B-body ranks pretty high on my list. It looks good from any angle.

cool 66 Sports Fury, welcome to FBBO, we talk MoPar here, not just B-Body, but that's the bulk of it...

Welcome from Maine! Very nice!

welcome to the site from western Pa nice looking sport fury have fun with it

Welcome to FBBO. If you haven't already, check out CBody Dry Dock. I was a member there when I had my 69 300, lots of good people and information there as well as here.

In the 80s I was stationed at the Marine Barracks NSB Bangor for awhile and dated a couple of girls from Poulsbo, we'd go "swimming" at Island Lake and "camping" out near the HammaHamma river (the "..." are cuz it was mostly drinking and, uh...stuff). In those days I wheeled a 66 SS 396, still a couple years away from my first Mopar.

Enjoy that Fury, it looks awesome.

Welcome! I'm on Bainbridge....
My formative driving years were on Bainbridge in the 70s. First car, first accident... What do you drive? Maybe I've seen you.

Yes, the 'Dock' was my first foray into C-body forum-ville after getting my Fury but I seem to spend most my time on the ABC-body forums. I'm about 3 miles from Bangor base.

I don't think I ever saw that generation Fury with a 4 spd. Very cool!

I've been to Poulsbo and I thought it was a really neat place. Also went to this little town on the water (Port Gamble?) and that was nice too.

You probably have see me.... big blue '71 Coronet Wagon. It's my daily driver so more than likely, you've seen it at Dairy Queen on the 305, Home Depot, in downtown Poulsbo.... as well as all over the island.

I have it over at the car show on Madison and the 305 (on the church lawn by the fire dept) during the summers. You'll need to brings yours over this summer!
