Hi flow oil pump with stock 402 pan

Yea, I am going to check the clearances when I have the pan off for shits and grins, but I won't worry.

If your bearings don't look perfect, it's not because of the 15 psi at idle.

Mine is very similar to mopar 3 b's. With a HV pump and adjustable pressure regulator I'm usually not less than 45 ever. Cold idle is 72, hot idle is 45. I do open road racing and will be at anywhere from 4400 - 5300 rpm for 40 minutes at a time. I run a Milodon road race pan with 8 quarts in it, a large oil cooler, and run Brad Penn 20W-50 in order to combat oil pressure loss over time. Oil temperature creep used to cause me to steadily lose max pressure and would drop below 45psi at 5000 rpm around 15 minutes in, which is dangerous. A big cooler and a good, stable oil like Brad Penn mad all the difference and now I don't go below 60 at full load.
