Hidden Treasures

I found my "Hidden Treasure", just languishing in a Garage in small town British Columbia, Canada.
Over 4 hours from the closest city of 1 Million.
It had not gone 6,000 miles in over 30 years.

1969 Charger R/T SE, in the Holy Grail of factory colors Black.
Just a very well maintained original Family Owned Car.... with just the one "exterior" only repaint in 1984, the paint seen here.
Very solid Body, Never Rusted, Never in an accident, all original solid Sheet metal, Original 440 Magnum Engine & 727 Trans as in neither have ever been out of the Car or rebuilt, still running just excellent.
It even still has the factory original Exhaust System from new on it, in good shape(Tips in trunk).

Just saying... they are still out there ?
paid low $20K
I think I got very lucky.

nice looking charger :headbang:

Wow, Challenger340, that is just beautiful and only 2 hours from my hometown of Bonners Ferry.

They definitely can be closer than you'd think. I found my numbers-matching '69 Charger R/T-SE down in Norwalk, CA, in a neighborhood literally right across the street from Excelsior Stadium. It was sitting in a little barn/garage behind the owner's house, next to a '70 GTX (both were for sale, both needing full restoration). He was overwhelmed by the two projects I think, and had them both for sale in a "pick one" craigslist ad. I bought the Charger so he kept the GTX and still has it as far as I know. Super nice guy and I still try to keep in touch letting him know how the build is going, but driving by his house you'd never guess those two cars would be sitting next to each other back there.
