I noticed the boosters on the secondary side are a little loose on my 700 Holley. You can wiggle them side to side. What problems can this cause I have been chasing a very slight idle surge 50-100 rpm, and was checking things out it seems to run great otherwise. Thanks

The boosters get swaged into the main body. Special fixture to do that. Maybe one of the carb specialists could take care of that? Woodruff is one of the site sponsors. Maybe contact them to find out. Another route would be to find a used carb at a swap meet. Clean it, use the main body and put the other pieces in a bin for down the road if you need spare goodies. I would imagine any of the 4778's would be fine as I suspect the only changes were in the metering blocks.
