Holley Sniper in my '65 Coronet

Here is an article showing the Holley Sniper in my '65. No pictures of the car since it is a Sniper article, but thought some folks might enjoy it anyway since there is some EFI discussion on here.

These people at HotRod will do anything to earn some bucks. The article is a sponsored fling to promote what Holley screwed up the first time. Don't believe me? Read this one done previously for another manufacturer of EFI. They had everything the Super Sniper has two years ago including pump control for a PWM pump.

Congrats on going EFI but the truth is, the best units are the ones where you can buy replacement parts at any automotive supply chain and that ain't one of them. That's important to know, but you won't hear it from the guys at HotRod.

With the Holley stuff, you can get replacement parts at any auto parts store.

Andyf, with the thermostat spacer, why not “o ring” it top/bottom and get rid of the gaskets?

The next batch I make will have an o-ring on the bottom. There isn't any space on the top for an o-ring so that side has to use a gasket.

I believe both Holley and fitech use GM parts. Chances are you can look in the nearest ditch and find parts for either.
