Hood Clearance 1967 Coronet - 440 with Eddy Performer and Quick Fuel 780

Thanks for your responses in advance. I am swapping out the stock intake and carter carb on the 440 for an Edelbrock performer and a quick fuel carb.

Question is,.will the hood close with the stock air cleaner (dual snorkel) with no clearance issue?

I suppose the dual snorkel will not fit, I tested this filter with a Holley Street Dominator intake, which is lower than RPM, and filter touches the hood.

Thank you JAmes Dodge. The set up has a Performer not the RPM carb. My concern is going from the OEM that has a height of 2.8" to 4.0" (Performer). Did not know if I would have to mill down the base of the performer or go with the OEM carb.

Sorry, I saw the perf. RMP at the pic... maybe with the performet it will fit, this intake is a little bit lower than my street dominator.

Found a good CH4B intake and will install Monday. You are correct, with the RPM dyno' yesterday at 453 go and 605 tq. Will dyno with the CH4B Monday.
