Hoping to race the old girl.....

Well, my buddy Jim and I went to retrieve the Missile, and drop off Krusty at the chassis-shop. The Missile needs fuel, and is "ready to race". Al at AW racecars [he does tons of mopar b-bodies], was pretty jazzed about Krusty...and has the same vision for it, as me. PERFECT!! I knew he would. It's absolutely amazing how clean the body is. The interior floors look 6 months old, and the truck just has surface rust, where paint has worn off. No scale or holes. And it's all original paint and glass. This car is perfect for full body-work/repaint. But I refuse to spend that money.

Once I recover from this Wed's knee surgery....gotta start gettin' some seat time in the Missile. YEA!
When Al scaled it, it appears to have picked up 150lbs of weight over the years [not figuring in my fat-***]. I've changed stuff to make it streetable [kinda], and believe most is in the cooling system, wheels/tires, and fuel system. The exhaust would have added more, but wasn't on at any scaling sessions. I may lose the Tricks, and go back to my Bogarts.

Mike, your cars are always badass!!still looking for that hemi wagon you used to have. Can’t wait to see that thing hit the track.

Thank you, Casey. The wagon has been rebuilt [AGAIN] for cruising. 6.4, 727/gear vendor, big brakes, lowered, interior updates, ceramic coated 3" exhaust, etc....the car is LOW
It hasn't been mine for over a decade, but never seems to leave my place...permanently.

My file photos are too large to upload....
