How Big This Storm REALLY Is........

This storm's outer bands are already affecting us here in Southern Ontario, and I'm around 800 miles away.

Satman...That Avatar is perfect. Just remember though..."It's My Island...Ireland". And I get to kill the English too!!!!

C'mon Dickie. Nobody wants to see your blue balls.

It's crazy here in Maryland, suppost to be blizzard conditions in western part of state and hurricane on the east coast.Whats up with that?

50 mph winds starting to kick in here on the far edge of the storm... in freakin' Michigan. Can only imagine what this thing is like on the east coast.

Made it thru the night, high winds when its dark outside is the worse, seems like any time a storm like this comes thru its at night.didnt lose electricity but it went off for like 2 seconds and then came right back on,I have a generator tho because I am on well water, learned from Isabelle back in 03 that without electric for 4 days.I can run 2 refrigerators my sump and well pumps and some lights and of course the coffee pot,can even heat a tank of hot water if I turn everything else off until its heated so we can take showers.work is on a delayed start today so I expect to be working late if all of our customers have power,if they have no heat and no power it will be a short day.looking outside I see we made it thru ok,hope everybody else made it thru without any damage.

I know a lot of people are having a tough go of it up there, but I couldn't believe the media coverage of the storm last night. CNN and FNC were both doing non-stop coverage all day and night! There was Shepard Smith and Rick Leventhal spending three segments and the better part of 10 minutes trying to get a shot of some water passing by! Seriously? Water passing by is a newsworthy event in NYC? Then another FNC reporter was trying to equate transformers blowing with bombs going off! Has this guy never seen a transformer blow in a storm before? They go off like fireworks on the 4th of July down here. Then this morning, I hear how millions in New York were "plunged into darkness" when the power went out. Down here the headline is just "Millions Lose Power".

Limbaugh said yesterday the coverage of the storm would be over the top because these newsies were in the mess this time, so of course things are far worse than in any other storm in history, and he sure was right.
