Hmm, don’t remember having this come up on the site; but often when reading an article or linking to something on a search. Seems to me I’m getting tracked one way or the other as it is, as items I had been looking at keep popping up even when having declined cookies. If cookies are required, w/o an option to decline, I close it out and go elsewhere as it pisses me off. Why are they required? Doubt it has anything to do with MY benefit. I found the part I needed or found something else. Don’t need to keep seeing it pop up on my screen for weeks. Whatever happened to “Thanks, if I need something, I’ll let you know?”

I don't even know what the 'green deal' is. I don't use my cell phone for browsing the sites much......I prefer my laptop for serious posting. I use my phone only for editing a post to add photos directly to the site as it saves so much time.

I quite often post a dot (period) then come back as the thread shows easily at the top in Recent posts. Then I make the edit and get out again.

Scroll down to the very bottom of your page - You’ll see an “Opt out“ button. When hit it says noted and the site will not sell your info. The problem as I referred to earlier is it seems you have to do the same opt out every time you come to the site vs one time and done. Why every time? It may or be intended as such but it’s almost like a bait & switch.

I'm guessing he is using a cell phone and that is the cause!!! So many these days rely on them rather than the safer route with a desktop or laptop. Getting to the point that them damn phones are borking up everything yet so many have fallen for them. Personally, I do have one but hate having to use it even when on my desktop...cr8crshr/Bill

If you're referring to me, the starter of this thread, then it's already been stated that I'm using a PC. The last thing I'd do is browse the internet on a phone.

logging in & out 2 times yesterday & today

I wonder if it's only for select browsers ?
Firefox or Google etc. for specific users ?
I wonder if you have Android or Mac, makes a difference too ?...

I get the suppliers deal on top
& opt-out stuff on the bottom, every time I log back in...
I'm always on my PC too, never a phone...

I'm staying with 10 as long as I can.......forced to upgrade from 7

I'm still using seven on my old laptop but I got a new one many months ago with 11 on it that I'm still trying to learn how to use. When I first got it I said oh crap and didn't even mess with it for several months but I'm finally starting to warm up to it.... kind of have to now since my old laptop is on its last leg and been there for a while. Pretty surprised it hasn't given me the blue death screen yet.
