How does one open the hood of a factory or clone Superbird?

That Superbird nose seems to me to be in the way of any regular hood latch release. Do the factory Superbirds all use inside hood release or are the hood pins actually required equipment and function as a necessary item to open and close the hood? And what do the clone owners do to access the hood latch? I don't imagine anyone crawling under the front end to pull on the release.

the hood pins are what holds the hood tight, pull the pins, and the spring lifts the hood enough to release the safety latch to open it all the way. Daytona's are basically the same, but no spring to pop the hood up

hood pins are required on all wing cars, no inside release was offered
