Mine are uncovered in a heated garage, waiting for warmer weather.
I had a Audi A8 in Wisconcin for one winter. I had a subscription to the heated car wash, which is a thing out thereI'm surprised they salt the roads in Iowa...Thought that was an east coast thing... I know they did it in Chicago, three year old cars with quarter panels flopping in the wind.... Cars that I would never take out in that crap but to most people they were just cars...
Several years ago the state and counties switched from sand to rock salt then came the brine.I'm surprised they salt the roads in Iowa...Thought that was an east coast thing... That sucks... I hate salt... bad for the cars, bad for vegetation, rusty undercarriages suck to work on....Several years ago the state and counties switched from sand to rock salt then came the brine.
They still use the rock salt alot, but pre treat with brine ahead of forecasted snow and ice.
Indeed Sir.I take it you’re worried about the undercarriage.
Well, I use calcium chloride at the house, but still damn it. lolIndeed Sir.
I don't take either of the ladies out of their heated garage cuz I have to salt my own driveway.

No, not even close. Usually one or two storms a year that melt off quickly. Last year no snow. It does get cold, sometimes in the teens, but not for extended periods of time like Illinois. Virginia is almost same latitude as Napa Valley Ca. That’s why Virginia is one of the top wines. I spent a winter in boot camp and A school at Great Mistakes Illinois, I swore I would never go back. I don’t know how anyone ever settled there. After spending a winter there, in the spring I would be like, “ Honey, pack the cast iron in the wagon, and get the green bean casserole, we’re outta here.”I always thought you guyz over by dere got snow, ice all that **** like we do?
I did boot in San Diego... But yeah Great Lakes for A school.. January through May... There was a really nice 73 Trans Am 455 SD parking out in the parking lot every day... And a 71 Cuda Shaker/Billboard car that the quarters were flapping... The Cuda should have convinced the Trans Am owner to drive a beater.... But they were just cars..No, not even close.
