This is supposed to be a vintage custom. I don’t recall seeing it before today, when I accidentally found it on autotrader.

Shortest Duster in the world (maybe), can be yours for less than $13K. I wonder what the wheel base measurement is..

It is sporting a vintage Hurst Autostick II shifter with 360 power. It would be fun to see the look on people’s faces when pulling up to the local car show in this little Duster.

It should have a name, so I gave it one, the Hustle Short Stuff Duster.

It's a cool looking car, that's for sure. 360 in that small thing could be quick. 408 could really be mean. No doors, no windows, no roof of any kind, possibly no trunk ( I see a lock but no seams for the lid. Seems like an enormous amount of work for very little versatility. It's only a 2 seater. All that work for less than $13k. Does it have a vin # and can it be registered? Great workmanship, great idea but I'll pass on it.

I don’t know all the details on it, but I did see a photo with the trunk open, so the trunk is usable. It was apparently customized a long time ago. It has paint chips etc. It is not a show car, at least not anymore. No top to raise, have to climb in and out like the General Lee.

It’s hard for me to look at it and not crack a smile and start laughing.. I don’t know if it would be possible for me to get angry with this little Duster, because it’s so comical to look at. It actually might be what I really need lol. Nothing is ever funny when working on the Super Bee and I certainly don’t get any laughter out of it..

For drag racing this Duster may have an edge in more than one way, because your opponent, over in the other lane, would be dying laughing, instead of concentrating on the tree. Imagine if this Duster had a 700Hp 426 Hemi in it..

Tim Conway’s Dorf on Golf character would be the perfect driver for it.

I seem to have run across some interesting vehicles this week.
