My 73 has a vacuum check valve in the vacuum line from the engine to the HVAC controller. The check valve is not working. It allows flow in both directions now. The air box was just rebuilt, doors all function properly and quickly. When engine vacuum drops I can hear the air box doors start to flutter. Annoying.
Is there a replacement check valve that works? I tried an off the shelf one, Dorman #47149. It restricts flow so much the doors hardly move.
