Quick question guys, How, if you can, do you set adjustable rockers to hyd lifters? Pulling out a solid lifter cam and replacing with hydro. Thanks.

Just run the rocker adj screw down to the pushrod just like solid cams, but give it an extra 1/4 turn to lightly pre-load the lifter.

You'll have to confirm the pushrod length too... might be different between the two cams.

I used Rhoads hydraulic lifters which tell you to pump them full of oil before you install them so I'm not sure of this applies to other brands or not. Basically, I adjusted the pushrod down until it just began to plunge the lifter, then turned the adjusting screw 1/4" turn more then locked it down. So far I haven't had a problem doing it this way.
