thinking how this wouldn't get filmed today.

The "watermelon" remark is pretty tame compared to today's films, the "N" word is used so often nowadays it's almost a cliché.

Funny 48hrs came up...weather has been pretty crappy lately so I have been damn lazy just watching TV. I have watched 48hrs 3 times over the last couple weeks...hadn't seen it in 25 years. Forgot how much I liked this movie. My wife and kids rolled in the room about the time he goes on one of his charges rants and they all gasped...I just laughed and thought....the 80's movies were great!!!
