Been there, done that and got a t-shirt!! I spent my whole life doing that and now I tell them I'm to old to do all that.I'm still off and enjoying myself.
One thing though....
I get these people that I know that seem to wait until I am off work to pester me for something. It is like the bird that shits on your car only AFTER you just washed it.
I don't mind helping people but I am absolutely finished with people that only seem to talk about themselves, rape your ear on the phone, only call when they need something or have nothing but **** luck which certainly has a way to jump from them to someone else.
It's for this very reason I try not to tell anyone of a day off? I'm older now and can use the "It skipped my mind." Nope. Just didn't want to tell you. Family included.I'm still off and enjoying myself.

Yep, my son lives in AL. Just moved there from MS and was in the Tidewater area of VA for 10+ years.High humidity air feels thick and steamy. It's like getting out of a hot shower and the bathroom is all steamed up. It's kind of hard to breathe and you overheat easily. Sweat evaporates off of you when the humidity is 30 and it's 90 degrees, but, 85-90 with high humidity is worse than 110 in a dry climate. Sweating will not cool you, it just rolls off you. I go outside for shorter periods of time during the day because the humidity just zaps you. Missouri has high humidity, but, a friend of mine that moved here for Alabama said Missouri is a walk in the park compared to there, hard to imagine. I've been in Tennessee over Christmas and in the middle of the summer, it's a lot like Missouri.
I hope it all works out well for ya'Been working everyday packing for my move. Gave away three truck loads and two 6x12 trailer loads yesterday to friends, dining room set, two bedroom sets and beds, grandfather and grandmothers clocks, two recliners, two Christmas trees, two TV's, three sets of patio furniture and three chaise loungers for the pool. Gave all the dishes in the kitchen and a half a load to the Salvation army and bought new dishes, glass, hell, everything in the kitchen new. Three weeks ago I sold my cars and bought one new Dodge Durango GT Plus. It's a new, fresh start for Theresa and I. I don't like moving and the next move is to a 3x3x6 spot I bought years ago!!
It was never about loving or not loving my job, it's about finding something I'd love to do more then something with the word job in it......... Trust me, I found it!!!Sonny loves his work....

Give a stupavisor a good idea to make thing work better and he does it. Them goes into meeting and brags how he thought of it. My spies told me about it.I really liked the work I did but it was mainly some of the morons that were stooopidvisors that was the problem.
Yup....and then quit submitting ideas because of that crap unless it was safety related.Get a stupavisor a good idea to make thing work better and he does it. Them goes into meeting and brags how he thought of it. My spies told me about it.
Yeah, I like my job but after 5-6 days of staying up late, sleeping in and lazing around, Im not all that motivated to get back to the regular routine just yet. What about you ?
