Turns out Santa brought me a lump of coal instead and not a Gran Torino that I asked for. The consignment dealer called me yesterday and told me the lady thought she could get more for the car and didn’t want to sell it for the price she originally listed. Last Friday I put a $500 credit card deposit down and thought it was a done deal. Since I figured it was a done deal, I got insurance set up for the car and ordered $100 worth of dealer brochures and a 1973 Gran Torino license plate.

The dealer said she refused to sign the bill of sale and release the title. :icon_fU::upyours::up::realcrazy::mad: I guess it’s a good thing I had to move money around in accounts to set up the wire transfer, because the funds were going to be wired tomorrow or Friday depending on when the funds hit my checking account.

Well, back to shopping. This time i won’t share anything with y’all until the car is in the driveway. I already got my eye on a few cool things. :p @MarPar do you still have the Newport? PM me.

People like that are infuriating. She committed to a deal and it should have been a done deal. Probably still grieving. Sorry for your disappointment

No worries, I got 3 picked out, but only on person has got back to me. Yours is the only Mopar. I’m having another garage built and I added 5 feet onto the length just for you.
