I like the show 'Bitchin Rides'

they do top notch work..... obviously, labor hours are an afterthought to those with deep pockets

that being said, none of what they build are my cup of tea......even if I could afford it

The guys that do the work at Kindig are really talented....but they absolutely ruined the 67 Dodge Coronet by chopping the roof and other mods. Beautiful finish, but IMHO its not a Mopar any longer when they have pulled it to pieces and rebuilt it like a Chebby....they may as well have stuffed an LSX in it.

I feel the same way. Putting giant wheels and rubber band tires on old cars looks proportionally off to me. Beautiful work though.

but what that owner did to that 67 R/T saddens me. Oh well, his car.

What has turned me off of watching
most of these shows is their easy
way out of introducing the LS engines.
Sure, it's bang for the bucks, but
wouldn't it be great to see bloodlines
kept?
They put an LS in everything and
portray happiness when doing so.

I look at the cars and move on. There are some cars that can get done his way and may work, but pick your project carefully. I lower all my cars with a two inch drop spindle, only.

As a guy who does all his own work I like watching those type of shows for the craftsmanship and incredible work that goes into the builds but 90% of the time I don`t like the look of the finished product - i.e. huge wheels, lowered, most of the body mods, paint schemes etc. The R/T isn`t too bad except that front spoiler just ruins the look of a really nice body design IMO. Their car, their $2-300k.

It's an OK show. I do catch it quite a bit as there ain't very much else on to watch these days. But, now that Baseball is back, I will tune into that over any and mostly all car shows. Pretty much the "same o same o" types of restos and mods over and over again. Just that there is a different Marque car brand they do it to, but the builds are pretty much the same...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:
