I think I bought another Corvette.

99.5 % Mopar... .05% Corvette

Vettes: I've had a '74, a '66 vert, a low mileage '69, a '71 gold LT1, now a '69 basket case and this '66.
Mopars: '69 Charger SE, '70 Coronet 500, '71 Charger 500, '71 Challenger, '81 Ram 50. (Mitsubishi)
Other Chevys: '81 Camaro BumbleBee, '97 Camaro SS
Fords: '91 F-150 '98 Expy 5.0
Pontiacs: 3 Grand Ams '73 455, '73, 400, '74 455. I really want a black '02 Trans Am WS6 6-speed.

The guy I'm getting the '66 from has a low mileage, green/green '71 convertible (both tops) 4-speed with a '71 crate motor LS7. He's moving so he might take some low offers.

Springs area?
I too am mid-move. When does he need it gone by?

I'll ask. Yes just east of the Springs. The paint is bad on the '71 but the interior is excellent. Been sitting for a long time. I think the original asking price was in the low 20's. I'm not telling what I'm paying for the '66 but it's a damn good price. I think the '71 was an LS5 car.

Did any of them run?
:rofl: :lol::rofl::lol::rofl:

I have a 77 C3, runs well etc but is smog era and being in California my fun with it is limited. Was my dream can since I was little but I should have held out for a 75 or older.

A 427 Vette with 4.11 gears is a great way to scare your friends on a ride.

I've also worked on some of my customer's Vettes.
I did wiring, doors, trim and the interior on this 58. I'm not a big C1 fan. They do make great drag cars though.

Did a repaint and a bunch of misc. work on this 68 427 4-spd 390hp. A lot of cleaning, painting and detail work. Fixed whatever needed fixing. New dash. It has the L-88 hood setup.

I just finished this up earlier this year. 1967 427 4-spd Tri-power 400hp with A/C. I did pretty much everything except take the body off of the frame and I probably should have just gone that far.
Complete interior. Repaint. The 427 was blown back in the day and now sports a 1974 454 LS-7. I built it with a big roller cam and ported Snowflake heads. The Tri-power is choking the hell out it.
New clutch, new Muncie M-22, new bigger axles, new mono leaf spring, front and rear suspension. All new interior and added electric windows, etc, etc. Fixed a bunch of butchered stuff and a ton of cleaning and detail work.
