I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

This isn't a problem with the jet. Its a problem with the Boeing line employees.
Iirc its close to union contract time so the union is putting their contract and the union ahead of safety and the company who pays their salary.

I found over the years many people think they work for and are paid by the union. The company has nothing to do with them.
Ridiculous statement and I challenge you to back up your lies with actual facts!
You have "found" nothing over the years except for ongoing ignorance and using slander and lies

So you are saying FOD is due to the aircraft and not the people doing their jobs properly?

I stand behind my statement it is the people building the craft and not its design as was stated in another post.
What he is saying is you dont have any idea of what your talking about. Maybe you should read and listen to him as he has actual knowledge of what he speaks

So the airplane did it and not the people who were supposed to.

Car crashes are due to the evil car and not the loose nuts behind the wheel. I get it now.

Back up your statements blaming the union for those crashes and the people killed with factual INFORMATION.
Did you read what another member here wrote? Do you know or have any actual experience in the aviation field or with unions representing airlines pilots, mechanics to justify your claims?

Maybe I misworded that.
It is DERIVED from the 707 AND 727.

No, other than being jet powered single-aisle aircraft, built by Boeing, and have the number "7" in their names, that's all they have in common.

707 - 4-engines under the wings, up to 215 pax, first flown in 1954. The only 707s flying are purpose-built AWACS and USN E-6 aircraft, plus JSTARS and a handful of specialty aircraft. Over 1,000 airliners and 800 military derivatives built.

727 - 3-engines (2 mounted aft, one on the tail), up to 120 pax, first flown in 1962. Fewer than 45 remain flying worldwide of 1,800+ built.

737 - 2-engines under the wings, anywhere from 60 to 190 pax, first flown in 1967 (Max series in 2013). Civilian and military derivatives total over 10,000 flying, with over 1,400 airborne at any given time

There is no "derivation" at all between the three. All are very different aircraft.

The 707 727 737 and 757 all use fuselage with a common design. They all are derived from the 707 with modifications. Look it up.
As a whole the aircraft are different but share similar designs
Kinda like the original mini van came straight from a K car.

Do you have ANY aviation experience??? I'm guessing not. Your assertation might as well be "a 2019 Chrysler 300 is derived from a 1955 Chrysler 300B" Same name. Four wheels and an engine, so it must be derived from the former"...no logic in what you're saying. As you said - "look it up!" I have been a crewmember on 707 airframes, plus have worked around them my whole adult life. You might want to listen to people know WTF they're talking about. Hint: it ain't you.

I guess there are a whole lotta people in the world who are wrong then.
Look up Jack Steiner and Joe Sutter, two of the designers on 727s and 737s.
In order to save time and money they adapted the 707s fuselage and cockpit to the 27 and 37.
LOOK IT UP.
If you worked on 707 airframe you worked on something that came before the 27 and 37 and probably didn't know that design was used on later craft.
As I said if I am wrong then many many people are wrong and you guys are the only ones in the world who are right.
I would t bet on it if I were you.

Most airline crashes are a result of several factors. This one looks like it may be pilot error, coupled with a faulty or malfunctioning anti stall system. There was also, apparently, a lack of pilot training, as to when to de activitate the anti stall system.

Third World. Put the best technology in the world in the hands of TinBukToo Jet Service, and bad stuff happens. I wont even fly Aeromexico. Who knows when ESL could rear its ugly head.

Why the hell couldn't you post it Mr. Know-it-all? It would've been nice, Just sayin! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_Commercial_Airplanes

You wouldn't have by chance worked on the KC-135, would you? Great ol' workhorse!

LOOK IT UP.

There you go again with this look it up ****, WTF the matter with you? Why not post some facts instead of this look it up ****!

SlapStick is now blocked. Done with his bullshit. He did nothing to prove his supposed point. "Look it up" is not the way you prove something. He must've sucked *** in debate.

Capt. had over 8,000 hrs logged, co pilot only 200. but how much seat time in this type aircraft other then simulator time. sounds like the pilot had him a hand full of airplane with not enough time to figure what the hell was wrong with his craft before they crashed. Could information overload be a contributing factor ? bells, whistles, lights flashing, voice simulation warnings a co pilot trying to thumb through a emergence check list.
their saying both crashes happened shortly after takeoff. it looks like its leading to that new anti stall system. very sad. all who fly "Happy Landing's"

Saw two articles today where there were reports of a vibration and shuddering on the plane, plus ground eyewitnesses who saw "smoke and debris coming from the plane" on its way down. Sounds more like a bomb, explosion causing flight control problems, or similar situation. Planes have crashed because of lithium batteries in the cargo hold catching fire and exploding. Everyone is quick to blame Boeing or the airline, when the cause may well be something neither could foretell.

erm....not to ruin it for you,
but the first original minivan was actually either an Amc or a dodge concept that was shown back in the late 70-s....almost positive it was an amc.
pretty sure if i google it i could pull a pic too.

even better a full story link.

From what I am hearing here. There were a few from our city lost in this.

RIP to all that lost there lives. Condolances to the families as well.

As for speculations. I leave that to DOT , MOT and the experianced of aviation.
