I'd say that this is about $192,000.00 overpriced

all" SHELBY" is,,,,is a name......like harley davidson. i wouldnt give you 10 cents for a harley...... but its a status thing i guess. after the cobra....was not much of anything but riding on his own coat tails. an OMNI ?.....thats funny within itself. take a piece of crap car that nobody wants,,,,,throw the SHELBY name on it and all of a sudden everyone wants one...this goes to show you the mindless arrogance of the buying public.......gimmee a HEMI and keep all that shelby junk ! thanx for lissennin'
 
I'm still waiting for the Shelby B Van to go up in value. (Hell, can't even find a picture of one).

Ya gotta look at it in the context of what was happening at the time. The only real American hotrod was the mustang. The Camaro and Vette were having identity and power issues. Ma Mopar didn't have anything to offer. Well, maybe the Conquest TSI. I was a dealer tech at the time and some of them "crap boxes" were pretty dang fun to bomb around in.
