I did a manual to power steering conversion on my 70 Road Runner. When I bought the car in 2019 it came with the steering box and pump . I found out the steering box is a 73 and up because it has the larger output shaft. I used a 73 B body pitman arm. The 73 pitman arm has curved drop . The stock 70 B body is a straight drop. I’m wondering if I should use the 73 and up B body idler arm in case the geometry is different? Ideas?

You do know why the 73 is different than the 70, correct ? If so, then you can think of what your solution is.

The drag link must remain parallel to the ground. If not the toe will change unequally left side vs right side over bumps. What ever idler arm acomplished that is what you need.
