If your car is B5/B5 what color is your interior metal trim?

What I need to know is is my dash frame and window surrounding metal trim the same color as the exterior or is it a different shade? Also is it shiny like the outside or is it more flat or satin? Thanks for any help.

My 71 Charger is B5/B5 and everything is B5 to include the dash and the interior trim. It tends to look a bit different due to the different textures. The interior trim is a matte or satin finish, more to the point it doesn't have any clear coat so it is not glossy.

I changed my interior to black because the blue on blue thing is hideous IMO (I feel the same for all of the same interior/exterior schemes except black on black)

When I get back in this afternoon, I can get you detailed pictures of whatever you need

I’m not 100% sure what else you need but this is my 73 RR dash. You can see it’s a flatter shade of blue compared to my door jamb/exterior color. Let me know what else you are looking for and I will get it for you

I think this is what I needed. So I wonder if I painted the dash frame the same color as the exterior and then put flat clear on it would it look correct?
I often see Jamaica blue incorporated in b5 schemes
after a little research I think this is what I have. My dash looks a lot like the one pictured in the post above and it’s definitely darker than the exterior..

Is your dash frame darker than your other metal interior pieces? Ie the trim around the inside of the back glass and the pieces over the front windows.

I would say the dash frame has more of a greyish tint to it compared to the trim around the windows which are a darker and much brighter blue. The dash is a lower sheen color, much closer to a flat although not totally so. Let me know if needed and I will snap a few more pics tomorrow.

I don't see where you say what make/model you're working on. Somewhat irrelevant for what I can contribute anyway, I guess - this is the back side of a Plymouth chip sheet from over at Hamtramck Historical, and Plymouth is all they have on file for '73. I think this contains the info you seek? Your fender tag would be helpful.

I have had success using delfleet essentials on areas like the interior and other less important areas. Adding a flattener makes the magic.
