Was looking at two , one is a Hurst edition and the other the ten edition , the sales rep. that I talked to seemed like a idiot ,

I raced one on the I-15 coming out of Barstow CA and heading on to the I-40 towards Laughlin CA and Needles NV.
Nice car and all but I walked away from him in the Shelby
(Big "go-mango Challenger and his "gal" had a nice "store bought rack"

I have a 2010 R/T Classic & I really like the car. It's not as fast as other cars out there, but it's comfortable, looks good, has the same hp as a n old 440-4bbl & still gets 25 mpg with the ac on. :headbang:

Funny thing is, this happened to me too. i went to the Dealer in Lancaster CA and the salesperson would not let me drive one. LOL! I'm 58 years old, I own 2 Shelbys and I have the 70 Bee and building a 63 Polara Maxie, and this guy thought it was a piece of unobtanium!
OMG!
Now, I think "we" are all missing the boat on the Viper! That is a world class Supercar!

there like stupid little land sharks , hey dude can I help you , are you sure your looking for this type of car , I should of knock on his *** ,I just walkedoff the lot , did see a nice z06 on another lot though

I like the "all black" Challenger.
A "guy" here at NASA Dryded, located Edwards AFB has an all black with a MOD package. Might be a Petty Car. Big 426 decal etc. He has the "shaker" and some other stuff. He flashes his light to me all the time.
sweet car! Nice riding. I'd own one if I thought Candy would not divorce me.

the hurst edt. was red sharpe looking and the was blk. with the blue stripes a friend just sent me one that is bright orange with white stripes its a 392 edition ,stick :headbang:

There are a few more "out here" at Edwards AFB.
2 White ones
1 Red
2 Black
And a "Plum Crazy" car. I think it was the "First year" and they made a few hundred this special color.

We just picked up a 2012 Challenger R/T Classic on Friday night. It's our 45th wedding anniversary present to ourselves. Ours is Tungsten Metallic and has 20" polished aluminum wheels similar to the Torq Thrust II wheels that we had on our '64 Max Wedge Belvedere. Traded in our '02 Corvette which was our 35th wedding anniversary present. The hp on the 5.7 Hemi Challenger is about the same as the Vette, but my wife feels a lot safer riding in the bigger, metal car.

I love the car, I just wish they would change the platform and dump about 500lbs off of the car. It would then be extremely competitive with the Mustang and dump on the Camaro. The engines are awesome and the looks are great. The price is not so great. For 50k you could make a killer E-body, and it could be totally brand new. http://www.dynacornbodies.com/body-shells/challenger.php
