Another way to do basically the same thing is to splice in an on/off switch into the blue ignition wire. You can crank it, it will "try" to start, but won't run.

This guy here calls it a dizzy switch this seems a lot easier than any thing ive seen . I like this idea at the 2:22 of the video.

It is a low current to switch the relay and then the relay will carry the load
