Are yousure its not a casting # 1735917, if it is, it fits a 56-57 C body 315 cu, inch. 2-4 alum D500 "A" Option, thats from my little white Galen Book. You got a classic.
That is the first second listing in my book, starts in 1956, all the way to 1974, that is the only casting # my book shows , its a galen chrysler corparation parts and casting #s book, maybe someone else might have something that goes back further....Somebody out there will come up with it..
Post some pics of the entire manifold and somebody could probably tell you what it fits. Maybe not the exact year, but what engine (early hemil, B, RB, Poly, A) etc.
Bolt pattern looks like it definitely a early Hemi, but the Gen. 1 Hemi came in so many different "flavors", between the Dodge,Plymouth,Chrysler,Desoto and Imperial variations,
I have dealt with a 392 once, but I'm primarily a Gen. 2 Hemi guy.
There are 14 different sizes of early HEMI's scattered through Dodge, Chrysler and DeSoto lines. Chrysler FirePower had the two rocker shaft version and I think both Dodge and DeSoto had the single. The single rocker shaft (Red Ram and Fire Dome) were basically poly motors and it looks to me this is from one of the single rocker shaft motors. Also looks like it's set up for narrow pattern AFB's and not WCFB's. Somewhere there's a rat rod that needs this!!
