What is the difference between the two in the way they are made and each purpose?.........................MO

Basically the same as dynomat, a bit thicker and costs allot less.
For me it worked great, stuck like crazy and contoured to all the corners and bends well.
Buy from eBay or Amazon for best prices, that's what I found anyhow.

I used Second Skin. They had second that had slight wrinkles and slight variations in thickness for less money and they worked just fine. Stuff weighs a lot if weight reduction is at all an issue.

I didn't make myself clear. In the Fatmat products, what is different the Fatmat and Rattle trap. Also is there two thicknesses of the Fatmat? Thanks for your help.................MO

Difference is in the thickness, they have three different products.

I would to thank everyone for giving some awesome suggestions! I went with the Lizard Skin sound and ceramic for heat. Had everything apart so thought this would do the job. I hope it does the trick, I will let everyone know after everything is back together.

True sound deadning requires trapping air much like insulation, I like Summits B Logic.
