of course we got the case wet too, but the convertor got it first/most effective , case not directly touching the convertor wont cool it as quick !Watching a trans temp gauge I have sprayed the pan and converter and nothing gives an immediate dip in temperature like hitting the top of the case. The aluminum just sucks all the heat out way faster in my experience. It is much more difficult to access in a car, maybe a hole in the floor?
