Might not go so long between meals then.....
Last I knew his eyesight wasn't very good, so that could be a factor. I just sent him an email, but it's been a long time since we've emailed each other, so I don't know if it's still a good address. I'll post if I hear anything.
He returned my call today, he is doing fine, no worse than the rest of us old guys.
He's been busy with family ect.

OK...I had a reply today to my private message a while back, and Steve is doing fine......having a great time going to car shows and cruising around. He is suffering the usual old-guy stuff like all of us of a certain vintage....but he is still enjoying life.
It was good to hear from him, and I am sure he will pop in one day when he is ready.
