Wow....well, not that old of a thread to be resurrected lol. Got banned 3 times from Moparts in the early years and I know a enough stink on the ones that used to be mods (or still are) plus the board's admin/owner to even want to go there. One ban was for mentioning something that would improve the site while one I deserved for fighting with someone and can't remember what I assumed the other one was for. After all, they weren't inclined to say why. They lifted the ban after awhile but I didn't really ever go back and be an active member. It's kinda like getting the clap for the 3rd time.....one gets real picky after that happens!!

Well, that's true of most guys.... While in the Navy I had a shipmate who wasn't that smart... He was "Special"..

I dont know if I was banned or if I was why> last time I used Moparts I contacted a guy I knew from south jersey about a parts buy. It all went well. That was a bout a year and a half ago. since I got to sw fl no go. cant log on or even re reg under a new name. Maybe they just dont like us here in Fla.

I joined there in 2005, and have thousands of posts, but I haven’t posted on Moparts since last year. Traffic really has faded there in recent years, good members left, and bad members stay. In recent times, if I posted something I’d usually get ignored, or sometimes some no-life troll would post an attack or bullying comment.
Life‘s too short to waste time on that. Too bad, as over the years I met some great people there and learned a lot there. All good things must come to an end, but thankfully there’s other car forums like here to frequent.

Pretty sure I've mentioned this before but special enough that what he caught didn't just get your a shot of penicillin, it just you a surgical procedure involving a reaming tool travelling through.......

I don't even go there for that anymore

I didn't like all the petty constant ****-retentive arguing
yet they don't get banned (?) I'd guess you just have to be part of 'the clique'
but some other petty innocent BS/Joke or meme, does get people banned (?)
(a lot like the same people, on the Chargers Forum, now mostly a Graveyard)
& God forbid you are a conservative/patriot minded contributor
& not an ideologically blinded follower

this is a far better forum anyway, seems to be more helpful/useful
far better content, with really active members, easier to use/post photos etc.,
and way better admin./owner & especially better/fair MODS

Moparts reminds me of the girls in high school in a small town. They were sometimes snobby but you put up with their behavior because it was all that you knew.
Then you realized that there were other options out there…
Now they are almost irrelevant and with fewer people paying attention to them, they remind me of the same girls (Now fat and wrinkled) at the 30 year reunion that are now quite willing to latch onto anyone.
In the beginning, they were IT for me. Now, they are just one of the many sites that I visit.
