I looked online and stumbled across this, under $4 each for Moog.

Really ?

Order up pup …..

Let us know how it goes !

Ever hear this one ?

IF it’s seems to good to be true it probably is!

Ask yourself this question!

Would YOU …. Sell A Part That Cheep ?
That Was Real ??

Do the math .

Mopar2ya!

The too good to be true part was the first thing that went through my head!
But at that price I ordered a pair to inspect, I'll post close up pics when they arrive and maybe we can figure out if they are legit. If they end up being junk I'll use them in some future non car project that needs a piece that can articulate a bit.

A lot of times Amazon algorithms show you an item for cheap to get you shopping. There are times I’ve went back to look for something I saw cheap and it’s more expensive.

Looked it up on Amazon and sure enough, it looks legit.
To boot, those are the exact same ones I bought for Fred back in 2015 - Amazon says so!
They've been on the car ever since...
I have no explanation (or need, honestly) for getting a pair for $8, but I did it anyways. Thanks!

I just ordered two for the shelf. I'll let you know how they are and where they are made.

Search comes up with the walmart site showing the same price. The review comments on Amazon said they might come in a paper package. Problems loosing parts. I'd still go for it. They've sold 50+ in the last 30 days!

I’m guessing you’re getting the moog name only. But it just may be an overstock situation.

Summit sells that part for $23.

After I bought moogs that were undersized and wouldn’t tighten in the control arms, I bought the AC Delco. They look high quality. I don’t remember where they are made. They installed fine. Summit lists them for 29.99

I also bought a moog tie rod end that didn’t have any threads. I believe that one said made in USA on the box.

I don’t think moog is the gold standard it once was.

About to find out. :)

I measured over the threaded portion and they were undersized. I have a post about it here somewhere. It wasn’t a lot, but those are goofy little threads and it was enough that they wouldn’t tighten.

I know a lot of guys just weld them in but I didn’t like that option.

Many times I search for parts, Walmart has them, they don't. If you really need them, I'd order them and put them on the spot.

It would suck to have the car apart and then discover the BJ won't screw in, I'd be cursing it as I weld. Where are the welds placed anyway?

If you know anything about MOOG parts and manufacturing, I would be jumping all over this as they are very good and easily fitted to our older rides. I only used MOOG and nothing else when I had my rides...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
