Is this insanely cheap or a scam for upper ball joint?

Are you in the middle of a build and need a couple?

Those are the "other offers", not the original $3.88 price we've paid. Wonder if they sold out?
Doubt being in Ohio matters. Have you tried the link @OneWheelPeel posted above?
(Mine arrives tomorrow according to Amazon).
That link still brings up the $15 price for me.

I am not trying to order any, just interested in the Tom foolery going on at Amazon.

When I replaced mine last year, I removed a pair I had installed back in the 80’s. The old ones didn’t even look bad. At my age if I don’t get another car I should never need anymore.

In case anyone cares, the limit is 6. I bought 4 initially, then 1 more "for science" to cut open. I considered buying another 4 this morning for the shelf & future projects, and it told me my limit was 1 more.

Funny... I refurbished a pair of UCA's with new joints and bushings, and they're just sitting up on a shelf. I don't need these... but I felt compelled to order a pair, anyway. What the hell's wrong with me ?? ( Disclaimer: I was diagnosed with this disorder many years ago, by a Dr. Justin Case. )

I definitely need help. I had my daughter order 4 since I was near my limit - I'll give her $20 when I pick them up from her house. Maybe there's a support group for part horders :)

On the other hand, since I have extra parts, I need to acquire another project car to put them on. I doubt the wife will buy that story, but it's worth a try...

Emphasis on “ had “ past tense ….

MOOG WAS …… not necessarily now . Been Sold & Hedge Fund Managed Where The Lowest Cost Supplier Gets The Bid !
Remember The Tie Rod Ends They Produced That Were Not Threaded?????

Ultimately YOU CHOOSE…..

Mopar2ya!
I completely forgot about that...Thanks for reminding me. I used MOOG before this and never had a single problem with any of their products. That was way back in the early 2000/the late 1990s so times do create change and in this case not very good...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

Weird, so when I gave the link yesterday I checked it with an incognito window and saw the low price. Today an incognito window doesn't work, it has me select buying options all for around $15. I was trying to see if it was based on location and VPN'd to Ohio but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I wonder about the Tom Foolery too.

Well, for what it's worth, mine arrived today. They're loose in the cardboard box, but new and the boots and little
hardware baggies are all intact as well - but the dang thing has grease everywhere.
"Problem solvers" with "gusher" greasing technology. :)
Yes, marked as hecho (made) in USA...
I'm guessing maybe Moog had a hiccup with their packaging and shipped some pallets full to Amazon and told them
to get rid of them because of the sloppy packaging maybe?
Anyways, got my two for $8 deal.

The loose packaging not only annoyed me but had me thinking it was a return at first, or worse a used one which sometimes happens at FLAPS when someone scams the counter person.

Mint!!! And yes they are greasy.

Mine look exactly like these. I'm gonna guess someone was supposed to put a little plastic plug in that grease hole and
didn't, leading to bazillions of greasy messes in boxes - and Moog saying "get 'em outta here!"
That level of attention to detail is what makes me nervous.

My dad used to do a lot of business with the tire companies. Remember when you used to be able to buy blems? He told me, I think it was Goodyear, stopped selling them because it hurt the quality reputation of the company's non-blem tires.

Guarantee it wasn't any attention to detail that spurred them to jettison these posthaste - instead, it was costing them money.
Yes, damage to reputation is one way it would have made that happen. Excessive returns on purchases would be another....
but yes, I'd agree something fishy is up over at Moog. A company that big and old don't make such mistakes.

I'm calling unfair discrimination.
Was able to "order" at good price via incognito mode. Logged in to pay and then.
It was in red fonts too. How insulting.
Then page refreshed and lost the checkout with them in there.
Incognito no longer shows the price.

Sorry, MOOG K772 Front Upper Suspension Ball Joint for Dodge Challenger can't be shipped to the address you selected. Please remove the item or select another address.
