Is / was there such a thing as “ radio delete”? Info required

Makes me wonder what models/years had a radio as standard equipment?

There was no such thing as radio delete since the radio was an extra cost option. The heater was another matter since every car came with one so in order to get a car with heater delete you it would be a special order from the factory.

Not necessarily.

I can find a heater as an ordered item in 64 but cars with a 'heater delete' credit only in 65 and 66. I haven't been able to establish what happened in 67. By 68, it looks like a heater was standard.
