As of April 23, 2018, Bullhead City, Arizona's all-time record temperature was 126°F, which had been reached six times, most recently on June 23, 2017.

The way would tell if someone was new in town ...... the car had a complete vinyl top.....

Our county seat - "Rogvegas" aka Rogersville - is the 2nd oldest town in the state and has the oldest
continuously operating courthouse in the state. Davy Crockett's grandparents are from there (and buried
there); since the town is on the original road that passed through from up north (DC, etc.) through here
on the way westward, several presidents have stayed at the historic landmark that is Hale Springs Inn
(also still in operation).

But enough about all that history jazz....
Fred has frequented these streets for several years now and gets recognized wherever we go. :)
(He also lives in a secret location out of town. Reasons...)

Stop sine at the bottom of the hill, put your vehicle in neutral and it goes back up the hill backwards. Took a friend there and he flipped out just could not believe it.

I live in the Hamlet of Ionia of less than 400.
My house is close to the 4 corners.
The peanut line railroad used to run across the street from my house and cross at an angle.
Their was a building shaped like a triangle on the lot opposite mine.

Triangle Building at the Ionia 4-corners, built in 1878 and used until it burned down in 1917 when a spark from a passing train ignited the building.

There were 2 stores on the corner. The upper store on the left here was in bad shape when we moved in. It was demolished and controlled burn by the fire company about a year later.

My house can be seen to the far right in this picture.

My 68 sport satellite, 70 charger r/t , 02 ram and I think my 72 charger all rolled off your assembly line—! I was in awe the first time I seen that plant from I44 how massive it was. Dads 70 Charger R/T was born there too ... still looking for it 170626. Many many good jobs lost now we get a truck stop and tilt up buildings...

Only this and nothing more.

Most of my working life was spent on St. Thomas, Ontario. We lived there for 35 years, so I guess I can call it my hometown.
In the late 1800's, P.T. Barnum's famous circus was in town. The big attraction of his circus was Jumbo, the largest elephant known at the time. After the circus performance, Jumbo was being moved back to his railway car. Somehow, he was on the railway tracks, when a freight train came roaring through town. Jumbo was struck and killed by the train engine that night in St. Thomas. There is a life size monument of Jumbo at the West entrance to the city, in remembrance of the event.

I'm fudging a bit on this one but nearby Ridgefield, WA (a suburb of Vancouver, WA as is Brush Prairie) is the home of U-Haul, which was started there in 1945.

In the 3 towns that surround me, Howell is famous for the grand wizard of the KKK, Hamburg is the Kohlrabi capital of the world, and Hell is, well, you know……..

No one will blame you for that, although, it did leave a scar on our minds!! :poke::lol:
