Jr. got the bug!

I went for my test in 1972.. I took my 52 Merc 2 door and had to pump the brakes when stopping... Failed that one.. Thinking back, the driver examiner had to be a damn fool to even get in that car.. But, I had my motorcycle licence 2 weeks after my driver's.

This was juniors written test. I filed my 1st road test even though I was driving my father's meat truck at 14 years old.
The examiner wrote on the exam.
"Excellent coordination at the wheel but way, way too fast."
I was using 1 hand on the wheel. And my left elbow on the window ledge.lol

What a joy having my little buddy helping 1st with Daddy's car today. 1st time he got grease all over himself and he was loving it.
I was so proud of him tackling the chore of reinstalling my PPP shifter in the 65 Plymouth so he can reach it now comfortably.

Tomorrow his 1st attempt at installing this in his car.

Very rewarding to pass the torch Superstock! My grandkids have had their hands in things too as you can see!

I told this guy that once we get to the track with the Plymouth there's not going to be as much time for hamburgers!
