Well it was anti-climatic. One easy 14 second pass and then the car proceeded to break. Very bad noises coming from starter. Hope the damage is limited to the starter.

Several cars I’ve built required a trans to block spacer to get enough tooth engagement into the ring gear. 3/16” material usually does the trick. My current car has a spacer. Who knows why they stack up this way? Numerous converter Companies. Factory starter and trans.Need 3/8 more starter engagement. Only have 0.110". Wonder it ever started.
