just a little off the back and sides please

Need some pics Hawk!
I don't want to hijack Mark's thread, but here are a couple. There has been a decent amount of work done where you can't see it like running brake lines, attaching pedals, gluing trunk weather strip, mounting various clips, etc.
After installing rear bumper:

I've finished making drain channels in the Stage VI heads. It's a design flaw that the valve pockets hold a lot of oil, so I put the heads on the Bridgeport and cut channels so they can (mostly) drain. I also cut channels so the bolt holes don't hold lots of oil.
If you look at the picture below, I am pointing to the one bolt hole that we (after picture taken) finished by hand. We simply cut a small groove to let the oil out. If you look between each pair of valve pockets you can see the groove that was cut.

Now I just need to finish the valve seats and assemble the heads. The valve seats have about .005" runout, which is too much. So I'll machine a nice 5 angle valve job into them and then we can assemble.

got this side caught up........ next time the quarters go on will be the last

How far back do you tape off the weld area, to prevent the sound deadener from burning. Is a 1/2 inch enough?

I keep my welds pretty small and quick, and immediately cool them with compressed air........... more so to eliminate any warp, but I never had an issue burning past my weldable primer.........that 1/2 inch is closer to 3/4 or more

That's awesome work man looks really great. I'll send my car to you it's needs that to lol.

none of my AMCs have been rusty, other than the usual lower corners..... they were all painted in full underneath and inside

buried in undercoat, the blue under this original piece of Machine wraps up over the lower, exterior portion of the car...... the white goes on top

I didn't clear the exterior pieces, just the underside for now
