Keystone Klassics

Rim Keystone Advert. #5.jpeg

If not Hallibrands on the front, can someone tell me what they would have been? Thanks all.
Don't believe they are Halibrand; I know what they are, can picture them in the mind, but the brand escapes me right this moment, which seems to be happening more often these days... Gimme a minute. Or several days...

Ok, I'm back. I'm pretty sure they are one of the iterations of these -

Foresight Ventures Drag Mag

For sale at Fleenor's Auto Supply. I love these wheels, have a set on my 442. Foresight Ventures made these wheels in the mid 60s before selling the castings to other wheel makers. Its a wheel that you will never see at a car show.

The above is from Annualmobiles; knew I had seen those wheels before. My memory is that several people made some very similar; still want to think of a different manufacturer name other than Ventures Drag Mag tho... like maybe they were an Indy wheel [brand, not race car] and still can't remember the style name... but 90% sure those or ones very similar are what is in the picture.

That's a cool looking car!! What's it's story?

Keystone Classics are a great looking wheel. Locally there have only been a few over the years, one set has been around for decades on a sharp 75(?) Sierra half ton
Thanks, it was my 3rd Charger that I bought while in high school. When the ad came out in the paper I called in sick to the grocery store I worked at and the manager hung up on me. Drove it home for $845. Probably my favorite Charger Ive owned over the years.

Thanks Guy. I appreciate your time and research. Wheels apparently found a different home sometime during the next 50-years. On all fours now are Cragar slots wrapped by Goodyear TAs (white letters out). Bee is now Black. Originals owner took photo with "first" wife in the passenger seat - you can see her outline. Sold 3-years later to the family that maintained it for almost 50-years. I believe I can see the outline of the "Scat Pack" rear glass decals (colors on near-side, and shaded reverse-side silhouette on the passenger-side. Maybe a figment of my imagination. :) The Bee wears those today.

in 1974 i had a pair of 15x8's with 12.5 goodyear slicks on the back of my 66 sat commando , with heavily modified rear wheel house , but they went right on my buddies 70 gtx . with even swap in my 4.89 ls . went pretty good for a loaded gtx . i had 15x4 ss cragers on my nose . but i.m a vintage american racing equip fan now .
