Kinky Friedman founder of the band Kinky Friedman and his Texas Jew Boys won't be down for another song. If I remember correctly, a staunch Texan who at one time ran for Governor. His music was funny and amusing and never really caught on but was enjoyable just the same...RIP Kinky...

Saw him many years ago. He was the warmup band for Mott the Hoople in 1973 in KC. Had to look it up to remember who they appeared with. I’m not sure I was familiar with him at the time but turned out that I remember he was pretty good and real entertaining. RIP Kinky Friedman.
