I want to openly thank the many members of this board for being the class acts that help make this a great forum. Many may laud the great bank of knowledge that makes up this site but an equal amount of praise needs to be showered upon the many great and supportive members as well.

May I make a suggestion that I hope some consider?

Can we make efforts to appreciate the helpful efforts of the members here that contribute far more than they receive?

I don't want to name names for fear of leaving someone out, but there are many here that have posted projects, posted helpful suggestions and responded to questions that greatly impressed and humbled me. I've seen countless instances where someone has dug through files to post a picture or tech diagram to help someone else out. How cool is that ??? Such generous and selfless gestures like that are amazing. I'm getting all touchy-feely here which wasn't my intent, but....

Finally, lets try to understand that the efforts of others should not be ignored or dismissed. Certainly not insulted. Some guys have busy lives and others have not much more than a project car and a few bucks to work on it. I see someone that is excited about a car I do not like, I try to appreciate his enthusiasm and leave it at that. We are here for many reasons. I'm not a Facebook guy. I come here.

Obviously, I am on the top of your, and everyone's list, but thank you for not mentioning me as there is no sense in upsetting the lesser folks here.

That's some funny stuff RC!!!!

he owes me a laptop.
i just passed a big swallow of dr. pepper thru my nose all over the keyboard.

Kern, thats one of the best posts ive read on this forum to date.

this. ^
far more posts are answered on off topics then they are on the actual cars/parts/tips/need help/advice.
the people that do make an effort should be applauded.

Your Humbleness is something i try to inspire too, Keep being a Inspiration R/C lol.

Maybe I should rethink hoping he'll adopt me.

Me think some swollen head needs some ice.

I don't do Facebook, I come here, I don't do Twitter, Instagram, Myspace,
What ever they are called or if they still exist, or any other social media etc. either...

This is my usual go to place too...

Great & "mostly" friendly {with only a couple or a hand full of exceptions, I won't name}
& some very knowledgeable members on here, great Mopar forum, the best IMO...

I'm an avid, IMO somewhat well rounded car junky/enthusiast,
think that I know a little about cars/trucks sometimes &
I still seem to learn something new, almost every time I log in...

Truly a great place, I enjoy usually spending time at...
Obviously, by my post count & thanks to members...LOL

Kudos to you too...

That's right Kern Dog but I will name one in particular...Charlie aka CDR. When I bought my first Mopar project it just happened to be in a million pieces leaving me with a million questions which he was always there to help, taking pictures, providing links and pointing out things I missed. I didn't learn until later about his health issues where he was likely struggling just to build his own let alone help me...... top notch guy for sure.

Here, Here! You da "Man" Kern!

( wanted to get mine in before seventy shows up)

I have been here all along, I agree with what kern says in this post, good for him, unlike some other members, I wont hold a grudge from one thread to another, OK, we bust balls, but if I say something, its how I feel, and how I live my life, not a show for the internet, I am aware its wrong to push your lifestyle on others, and judge people for their actions, I can't seem to stop though, :) its a sickness...

I have gotten some good info from the guys on this forum, bought parts that I couldnt find locally. I am going to meet up with a guy I met through a guy I met on this forum this weekend, I have a minty new ebody dash pad he needs and he has some parts that I need/want. Thats what its all about, I have sent parts to guys, I hand delivered a brand new package tray for a member last month, I have a standing offer for anyone that needs to use a lift that is close by, pm me, and we will get what you need done, Ill give you a hand and I have a lot of tools...

This hobby is like all the others, we all help each other, I had 25 members of another forum over to my home, domo'ing a pair of speakers for an ID manufacturer. We hosted parties for other groups, I agree with this post, LIFE IS ABOUT PEOPLE, all of us and all kinds, you see me doing something wrong, call me on it, why the fk not?

BUT ANYWAY, I prefer to thank the guys that help me individually, but will jump on this band wagon, and also say thank you, to the older (and not older) wiser, mopar members that know which bolt should be used to fasten down a 69 a12 valve cover, and at what toque to tighten it..

CHEERS, this ones for you...

There's no such thing as a stupid question. I was told at a young age that the stupid question is the one you didn't ask. And anyone who puts someone down for asking what they think is stupid is stupid!

Awww, come on! We all have to start somewhere, right? Nobody starts off knowing everything. Sometimes we learn by making mistakes and learning from them. It costs more money that way but it is often a lesson that we really remember!

In trying to avoid the mistakes and extra cost the first time around . And yes your right about the stupidest ?'s are the nmones not asked but I've asked some real basic stuff some times because I was building equipment motors not car motor s and they are very much different and I didn't want to kill a perfectly good motor out of stupidity. So again thanks and I'll be asking more soon when I finely get back to my cars
