My very close Friend from High School Larry Atherton has pass away
from a Brain Aneurism. He owned SA Designs that published many of the
How to books on cars that I use today. He also owned A & W with did R&D
on Mopars and supplied parts to Mopar Performance and other racers.
He did much engineering on small block Mopars that I still utilize today.
He built and raced small block Mopars. He is the one who created my
interest in racing and collecting Mopars and helped me with my early cars.
He also had a Software company that I relied on for predicting Engine
Performance and changes.

Boy did we have a lot of amazing great times together!

RIP My old friend.
I will probably be seeing you soon enough again.

God is Good!
All the time.

Sorry for your loss.
Sounds like he was a fun , smart, and very motivated man.

Sorry you lost your friend .
Prayers for him and his family.

RIP another legend on his way to the promised land...

God bless his family and friends.
He sure had a productive life here on earth.
RIP to you Larry.

RIP: I have a few of his books. First time I heard of him he did a multi issue article on a nice smallblock for his 68 Formula S. That was back in the 70's in Car Craft I think. It was unusual to find build articles on anything other than a SBC in those days.

Condolences for you and his other friends losses and prayers for the family. :praying:
