Looking for any feedback on replacing the factory bulbs in my '73 Charger Rallye dash with the LED (BA9s) version. Has anyone done this? If so what brand did you use? Are they dimmable? Are you satisfied with the brighter look?

Thanks. Did you go with a cool white (6000K) or the warm white (2700K) bulbs?

I used the cool whites in mine but kept the factory blue diffusers in it.

And no, they are not dimmable.

the color of the LED's should always be the color of the lens used.
example, green LED's for a green lens, red LED's for a red lens, etc.
guys have crabbed for years about spending bucks for the "super" type of LED's, only to be disappointed in the outcome.
i ask them what color LED's they used, and it always comes back as "white". i tell 'em to change over to the lens color being used, and you will see a BIG difference !
don't believe me ? put a "white" LED in one tail light socket, then a "red" LED in the other. can be the "super" style or the "cheapies". it doesn't matter as long as both are the same type.
come back and report the difference !

The reason a lot of white leds don't shine correctly through a red lens is because they aren't a full colour spectrum like an incandescent bulb. They don't have any red in them; the white light is made by using a blue diode with yellow phosphor.
