Legend 700 5 speed doing an install

More photos coming ran into a slight problem but nothing I can't fix. Had to machine a new pilot bushing had a weird bore size in the crank.

finishing up the trans tunnel modification just boxed in the crossmember a few little tweaks and its good to go. IMG_0020(1).jpgIMG_0021(1).jpgIMG_0022.jpgIMG_0023.jpg

used 12 gauge steel. Had a question for you though. did you use the stock return spring on your clutch pedals?

Distantly related but, my early Keisler TKO bought and installed in 08 came with a crossmember. It twisted and I had one fabbed. I bought the Aluminum bell housing from them. With that and the TTI's, the weight reduction was enough to raise the squat.

The large spring under the dash was removed because I am using a diaphragm pressure plate. If your using the Borg and Beck type pressure plate then you keep the over center spring. Make sure to check the transmission/driveshaft/rear pinion angles. I'm getting a driveshaft type vibration that starts at around 100 MPH?

Go the trans all in a lined up the shifter is going to need some modification because it has moved forward and is crashing into the dash. Pictures to follow. 451 Mopar what gears are you running? you might be approaching critical speed of your driveshaft.

I have 3.54:1 gears, I think the OD is 0.68:1
I calculated the driveshaft RPM and is should be around 4,500 RPM.
I need to check the drivline angles, just been too busy with work to play with the car the last three weeks.

Ok new question for ya 451 the neutral safety switch be the shifter how did you wire it. Looks like a 2 pong weather pack connector would fit?

My switch had the mating side with it, but I think it is a weather-pack connector. I actually replaced my 4-speed starter relay with one for an automatic so I could wire up the neutral safety switch.
