No, I didn’t’t call anybody else. When I looked Around they all had big lead times. Dante’s shows 34 week lead time so I am going to bide my time andI will have almost everything done by the time the covers come in

When did they tell you "40 weeks"Ordered new seat covers, panels and headliner for my 70 Charger. I was told 40 weeks. Uhhggg
I am going from shop to shop to see who can do it in my area. There’s a bunch of them within 30 miles of me. I’m going to look for some custom work as well. I’ll get this worked out without Legendary. I did ask if my money is refundable when I ordered, they said yes. Thanks allRestoring a non numbers car. If your just wanting to finish a project...
Checking with a auto upholstery shop may be a option ?
No, told me that as I ordered by phone. When did they tell you "40 weeks"
Thank you
- During ordering/checkout on their website?
- By email immediately after ordering?
- By email at a later date after ordering?
- By telephone if you called them?
I ordered online when they had the sale listed during the Christmas season and they did not tell me the lead time until an email later so I was a little upset but now I am just working on other things until parts arrive. When did they tell you "40 weeks"
Thank you

While no one seemed interested in responding to my post on this topic I will say this. With all the crap going on in our country finding a parts is a challenge. Here is what I learned. There are stocking dealers that do have inventory. You have to call and ask them what is in stock. Legendary supplies a great amount of product to every one of them. These stocking dealers will have a priority over any individual order. Legendary is fair but you will go into an order of assemblance. Vendors may stock 1 to 100 of what an individual is trying to order. Legendary is filling their orders that is why you are on the waiting list. I found Year One, Classic, Dantes, and a host of others may have inventory. You need to get on the hello pipe and ask the question, is it in stock. I located many parts going to these vendors as the manufacturer has no inventory and is making the product and filling the order.
If this is your part number Classic Industries has them in stock. Front MB737154, They also show the front seat foam and rear Charcoal covers in stock.I placed two orders with Legendary yesterday and they emailed me about each one today. The orders are in production with the following lead times:
28 days for molded bucket seats foam.
252 days for bucket seat upholstery and rear bench seat upholstery. That's roughly the middle of October.
Car: '70 Charger
Interior color: Charcoal
I haven't yet ordered the headliner.
Thank you for your reply. That looks like the right one, but I don't need the upholstery right now. I don't mind Legendary's long lead time as I have other work to do on my car before reinstalling the interior. If this is your part number Classic Industries has them in stock. I had a couple issues with them. Did not get results until I went public with them. They made it right so I would use them again. My whole point of this it people say they can not get certain things. Where they are not taking the time to go to the big stocking vendors. If you don't call them you will not know. In the last 2 years I finally finished my 69 Charger. People were complaining then and I was able to locate just about anything by making calls.Thank you for your reply. That looks like the right one, but I don't need the upholstery right now. Also, I'm wary of doing business with Classic Industries after reading complaints by fellow FBBO members. I might give them a chance at Carlisle after talking with them in person and seeing if they have anything I need.
