Let’s post some photos of your Christmas tree

My Mom passed away ten years ago Christmas Eve. That first Christmas was the worst ever. For the next five years, I put up very few decorations, or none at all. No "Christmas spirit" for us. Christmas was Mom's favorite holiday, and she was always an "all or nothing!" Mom when it came to all that. The past five years have been a "meh" kinda thing.

So, the day after Thanksgiving this year, we got everything out and had all of it up in about three hours! Tree, light, tinsel, all of it. We had a great time and really enjoyed it.

I know better than to offer to help with the tree! That is my wife's holy grail. Every once and a while I will move an ornament just to mess with her. The cat will do this once and a while to!

Our granddaughter, Esther, seeing her first Christmas tree this year. This is at our daughter's house. No tree up at ours...yet. Just put the lights up outside our house this past weekend.

I used to decorate like the Griswalds, then realized they didn’t need, want or appreciate the it or the gifts.
I don’t put up anytime anymore and just give the kids cash.
We’ve been doing family vacations for 20 years building memories, off to Jamaica this year.
Merry Christmas, ya man.

Our tree is sitting on my wife’s sled that she has had since she was 6 years old. That sled has literally been all over the world.
